Hirsch Physical Access Controllers

Hirsch Controllers is a recognised physical access control system (PACS) solution to many governments and industries across the globe. Hirsch systems are durable, reliable, and feature-rich, and while designed for the most secure environments, they are affordable to install everywhere.

As technology standards evolve and new standards are made available, Hirsch's multi-door access controllers are fully firmware, function, and communication protocol compatible with legacy and future-fit systems so that existing credentials, readers, and databases can be retained.

Hirsch Mx-1 Controller

Take charge of a single fully supervised door for controlled entry and exit with the Power over Ethernet (PoE) edge Hirsch Mx-1 Controller.

Because of the modular design and scalable architecture, an installation may start small and expand as needed, from a single controller system to a larger, multi-site enterprise environment.

Designed for use with Identiv Velocity Security Management System software.

Full Access Control

Control access to premises based on Time of Day, Day of Week and door, requiring users to present a card, a code or both. Configuration allows the Hirsch Mx-1 Controller to determine who goes where and when.

High Security Monitoring

A line supervision module is installed at the door contact, alarm sensor, request to exit (RQE), or similar device to establish this supervision.

Alarm, Secure, RQE, Mask, Tamper Alarm, Tamper Secure, Short, Open, Noisy, and Input-Out-of-Spec are all potential reported conditions.

Reliable Design

Mx-1 Controllers are highly available as a complete system for worldwide markets. The controller includes a standby memory battery, while standby UPS or battery for operation are optional.

The controller is ready to connect to a PoE+ power source and supports optional 12/24VDC external power supplies. The power connectors have been fused. Built-in hardware circuits protect readers and relays by shutting down power when they detect excessive power consumption, safeguarding the board from unintended damage.

Hirsch Mx Controller

Hirsch Mx Controllers support up to 4000 users or more and offer scalable, networked communication. They are available in two, four, or eight fully supervised door models.

The Mx Controller's modular design and scalable architecture enable an installation to start small and scale up as needed, from a single controller system to a larger, multi-site enterprise.

The design easily integrates with current systems, allowing existing credentials, readers, and user databases.

Full Access Control

Control access to premises-based on Time of Day, Day of Week and door, requiring users to present a card, a code or both. Configuration allows the Hirsch Mx Controller to determine who goes where and when.

Additional Functions includes Unlock or relock, alarm mask or unmask, and lockdown or lockdown release. In addition, the controller may monitor the associated door for door forced entry and door open for too long while also offering auto relock control.

High-Assurance Monitoring and Relay Control System

A line supervision module is installed at the door contact, alarm sensor, request to exit (RQE), or similar device to establish this supervision.

Alarm, Secure, RQE, Mask, Tamper Alarm, Tamper Secure, Short, Open, Noisy, and Input-Out-of-Spec are all potential reported conditions.

The relay control system utilises relay outputs for electric door locks and strikes, arming and disarming security systems, alarm annunciation, elevator floor control, HVAC control, lighting control, storage locker control, and various other equipment control applications.

Codes, cards (via a reader), time zones, alarms, or logic sequences linked to other relays can all be used to activate these relays.

Reliable Design

Mx Controllers are highly available as a complete solution for global markets. The controller includes standby batteries for both memory and system operation and an internal switching power supply. Door relays are socketed and are replaceable. Additionally, keypad or reader terminals and power circuits are fused and resettable on the fly.

For every controller, A heavy-duty NEMA container with a lock and a tamper alarm houses each device. The built-in hardware circuits protect readers and relays by shutting down power when they detect excessive power consumption, safeguarding the board from unintended damage.
